1. Heating

Heat was supplied by a steam boiler located in the boiler room under the northeast dressing rooms. Pipes from this point are connected to radiators in all spaces except the squash court. Here under floor coils in the four corners supplied warm air to the room through floor registers.

2. Electricity

Electric power was supplied via underground cable in the later stages of estate occupancy. Early photographs show overhead electric lines to the recreation building; it is not known when the conversion was made.

3. Plumbing and Sewerage System

Since there is no identified central sewerage system on the estate, it is assumed that sewerage disposal was via septic tank and tile field behind the building, or effluent drainage to the southwest into Beach Creek.

4. Water

This was supplied by the elevated tank located across the road to the east of the building.
