Dear Sam,

Your Church has selected you as deacon and placed upon you the awesome responsibility of leadership, example, and spiritual direction. This is a most crucial time in the life of our church having just completed the new building, new staff. We need men such as you to sense the leadership of God and then take us that way.

There wait be an organizational meeting called shortly. Also there will be an ordination and installation service within the next few weeks. All of these will be given in detail I did want you to know immediately of your response as deacon. Your church has confidence in you and believes that under the guidance of God, you& life will be a blessing to the life of the Church.
