Notes

Built a two-story, magnificent residence at 705 North Fifth Avenue with continuous poured concrete walls; a first in the area.  The home also contained an elevator designed to lift with hydraulic water pressure, but the local water system had insufficient pressure.  The elevator car became a closet.

He invented a Logging Truck in 1889, and received a patent for it in 1899.  The wagon was first manufactured in Sandersville, Mississippi.  The wagon factory burned in the early 1900’s and the operation was moved to Laurel, Mississippi.
