Pop as a "Beetle"When the "Beetles" arrived in the U.S., Sam Lindsey, Jr. owned and operated a pest control company in Laurel, Mississippi.

He used the publicity generated by the "Beetles", both positive and adverse, to put a message out to his market through a newspaper advertisement which said, "If you have beetles in your house, call LINDSEY TERMITE." 

 

Pop with new truckPop always loved to have pictures of his new trucks.  This one is posed in front of the 1st Avenue office.  You can see by the writings on the side that he did believe in marketing his products.
