Ventilation Work

The work is really coming down to change orders and finishing up.  The mansion is really starting to regain its life with some of the furniture inside.  This time, I wanted to show some of the work that hasn't been highlighted before.

The mansion is looking better all the time.  Notice that the sconces on the front piazza are on. The pool is uncovered.  I was wondering how they had such a deep pool in such a smallish space.  Now I know.  Notice the tile steps. In the basement under the kitchen area.  Notice the termite damage to the old beams.  They had to install steel angle iron to prop up the floor.
Here is the kitchen floor just above the termite damage.  They tried to level the floor, but they could only raise it so much without destroying the tile. Once again under the  kitchen area.  To provide enough support, they had to put 2 steel I-beams to replace the termite damaged sill. Still in the basement, part of the fire sprinkler system that has been installed to keep Plum Orchard from becoming like Dungeness.

R&L has been at the site almost continuously since the project started.  Here is their luxurious field office!
