I have started taking photographs of the C & O Canal. What a treasure this is to our country's history! As you walk up or down its tow path, you are experiencing almost the same feeling as the boatmen of the 1800s; you are walking the same path at about the same pace as they did. I hope you will join with me as I go along this journey.

As I go along the canal, I will be using some descriptions from "The C&O Canal Companion" and "184 Miles of Adventure". All quotes will be attributed to the book and author. Most of the descriptions will be mine in the form of reflections and thoughts. All of the photographs are mine taken by me and produced by me.
