Autumn Near the Kentlands 2002

These pictures are from River Road to the Potomac River.

Looking North to River Road.	A bluff overlooking the Creek just South of River Road	The Creek was low when this photo was taken; low enough so it could wander in its own stream bed.
A stump in the Creek had rotted; leaving only the shell.	Another stump had rotted; leaving interesting swirls and patterns.  Can you see the wolf?	At the boat ramp just before the C&O Canal looking North.
Muddy Branch goes under the C&O Canal.	Looking North to where the Creek flows under the C&O Canal; just before it joins the Potomac River.	Muddy Branch adds its flow to the Potomac River.
