Responsible for the smooth technical operations of a rapidly changing network and Internet application environment. Maintained the LAN and Internet servers and maintained and upgraded the desktop computers. Servers were Compaq 3000 and 5500’s running NT 4.0 in an Ethernet 10/100 environment. Desktops are Compaq 133-233s operating under NT 4.0 Workstation and Windows 95. Responsible for the development of an intranet to provide access to information and templates utilized by the entire company. Responsible for the development of a Corporate Contact Management program (utilizing Access database) to provide our sales, client services, and help desk staffs with consistent, sharable information. Responsible for assisting people who have problems using our e-commerce site and providing information from those calls to the web site development team (5-20 people) as well as management.
