I have added a couple of train related excursions of my own. Please note the navigation bar to your left.

About 3 to 5 times a year, my father, Sam Lindsey Jr. would get with some of his "buddies" and head out on a train trip.

These were not your normal day-trip kind of affair. He would work for weeks putting together a voyage of discovery by rail that would last from 5 to 10 days and cover thousands of miles.

From Churchill, Canada to Mexico and, I believe, every state in the USA that had rail service, he ventured and voyaged.

Some of these excursions are documented enough that I can relate what he did; those I would like to share with you.
