Notes She was the daughter of Henry and Dorcas Parker of Old Claiborne, Mississippi.  She and her husband spend their married life together in Laurel and Sandersville.  They reared their family there and were influential citizens.  He died in 1909, and one daughter, Mrs. Dellie Risher, preceded her.

Mrs. Lindsey was a charter member of the congregation of the First Baptist Church in Laurel and was a faithful member of the Mizpath class.  Although home was her province, she had a wide circle of friends.  She was a fine gardener and was an honorary member of the Mimosa Garden Club.

Survivors are one brother, D. B. Parker of Foxworth, Mississippi; one sister, Mrs. Minnie D. Jackson, Laurel; four sons, Sam, Will, and Henry Lindsey of Laurel, and Jeff D. Lindsey of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Frank A. Beard, Mrs. S. A. Phillips, and Mrs. Kerney Hurst.
